4. What is the Summit format?
The 3-day programme includes plenaries, thematic workshops, capacity-building sessions, and side meetings, blending policy dialogue, technical exchange, and real-world case studies.
5. How can organisations get involved?
Engagement options include:
- Sponsorship — support the Summit financially, contribute to the agenda and engage across all activities.
- Knowledge Partnership — share expertise and contribute to the agenda.
- Project Meetings Host — convene stakeholders within host’s existing initiatives

6. How do I register?
Pre-registration is currently open at the this link. This is only an expression of interest with official registrations opening in January 2026 via the official Summit webpage. We recommend pre-registration to ensure you receive the registration link once it is open, of which spaces will be limited.
Please note that by submitting your expression of interest here, your participation in the Summit is not yet confirmed. We will contact you shortly if your participation is approved and provide further instructions.
7. Is there a cost to attend?
Attendance is free for all!
While there are no actual participation fees, meals are not included, therefore attendees will be asked to make payments towards their meals during registration.
8. Will travel or accommodation support be available?
At this time, participants are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation. Accommodation options are detailed here. If support opportunities become available, pre-registered participants will receive notification for the available opportunities before the opportunities are publicly shared.
9. Is the Summit in-person or hybrid?
At present, the programme will be fully in-person in Lausanne, but any changes will be announced on the website and in the GlobalABC communication channels.
10. What language will the Summit be conducted in?
All sessions will be held in English. Key sessions may include simultaneous translation into French.
11. How can I propose a session or speaker?
A Call to Showcase Projects is currently open, which presents an opportunity to propose and co-create a session, with the possibility of proposing speakers as well. Organisations are encouraged to submit proposals that align with the Summit themes and action areas through the expression of interest form , and if not an area previously mentioned, motivation must be provided for how it will align with the purpose of Summit detailed in the About section.
12. How can media representatives participate?
Media partners and journalists can request accreditation. Dedicated press briefings and interviews with key speakers will be available during the event. You may also get in touch at contact@sustainable-construction.org to propose any other possible collaborations.
